Thanksgiving 2010

This year we decided to make a week long trip out of Thanksgiving. We were headed to VA to have Thanksgiving with the Wilson's and decided to go earlier to head into DC because I have never been there. We had a great time and lots of walking! I do appreciate Florida traffic after experiencing DC traffic (thank you Aaron and Laura for taking us around).

Our first day in VA we drove over to Maryland to watch FSU take on the Turtles (that's right...their banners said "fear the turtle") It was really great to be chanting and doing the "chop" around other FSU crazies! It was cold, im pretty sure FSU's most dedicated women fans were sitting right in front of us and our seats were so high I was pretty sure God could hear my prayers much better from the stands...it was SOO great!

DC has good sights and good eats! We saw beautiful trees at Arlington AND ate at Ben's Chili Bowl and Founding Farmers (both highly recommended for your next DC visit)

Thanksgiving was great as Laura hosted her 1st VA Thanksgiving! It was delicious and we all enjoyed our meal and our naps.
